MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT CONDUCTS ITS 5TH EXCUTIVE IDEA EXCHANGE FORUM

Management department is one of the crucial program that AAU running. The department has launched outreach programs through “Executive Idea Exchange Forum” on timely subject and important issues with government officials, University community and private sectors to create common understanding and enhance a sense of partnership. The forum is strongly believed to bring professionals and business together to exchange idea, share experience and pave way towards better economic development.

Project Leader, Donkey Health and Welfare Project

Addis Ababa University and The Donkey Sanctuary UK made a 25 year commitment to improve the plight of working donkeys and mules by creating the Donkey Health and Welfare Project (DHWP) in 1995. This project is jointly managed by the College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture in Debre Zeit and The Donkey Sanctuary Country Office, Ethiopia. Ever since the partnership project was launched, the project has evolved its strategy to bring a sustainable improvement in the quality of life of donkeys and mules. Two equine clinics exclusively for the care of donkeys and mules were built, one in the college grounds in Debre Zeit and the other in Merkato, Addis Ababa. Currently, the position of Project Leader for DHWP is vacant and interested applicants are encouraged to apply.
