AAU consultative meeting underway

Addis Ababa University is running a five days university wide consultative panel discussion with its academic and administrative staff on current national issues including: education quality and the challenges and achievements of the last 25 years.

The panel discussion kicked off on Monday September 19, 2016 in four halls: Convention Hall, Christmas Hall, Mandela Hall and Business and Economics Hall with presentation following a moment of silence. It is intended to encourage higher institutions to play an active role in improving education quality, building national consensus for sustainable development and strong unity among nations and nationalities of the country.


Featuring presentations and deliberation on its first day on the aforementioned issues, Kassa T/Berhan, Minister of Federal and Pastoralist Affairs and Chairperson of the Governing Board of the AAU, Admasu Tsegaye (Ph.D.), AAU President, Vice Presidents of the AAU and senior administrative staff chaired the stage.

The discussion would go on till September 23, 2016.
