Mobility programme: Erasmus + International Credit Mobility (Key Action 1)

Mobility of students from Addis Ababa University to the University of Siena (Italy)

Type of mobility:  MA and Postgraduate

Number of mobility: 4 mobilities for the a.y. 2021-2022 for a period of 5 months each

Fields: Open to all fields

Time frame of mobility’s: The candidates could apply for the SECOND SEMESTER  2021 (from September 2021 to February 2022) or for FIRST SEMESTER 2021 from March 2022 to July 2022.

Deadline for presentation of the application for both semesters: 15 April 2021

Scholarship

The Erasmus + projects provides the following financial support to the grant holders:

• Monthly allowance of 850 Euro
• Round trip plane ticket between the grant holder’s home country and Italy purchased by the University of Siena, according to the following travel support: Eur 530.00 / travel distance between 3000 and 3900 kem
• Health, accident and travel insurance valid during the entire mobility period provided by the University of Siena

To apply candidates must provide:

• Transcript of record
• Updated CV
• Proof of enrolment at Addis Ababa University
• Knowledge of English or Italian (depending on the teaching language of courses included on the learning agreement)
• Learning agreement proposal (https://en.unisi.it/international/international-exchange-students/course-catalogue-learning-agreement )
• Motivation letter

How to choose courses

For a detailed list of courses taught at the University of Siena, students can refer to the online platform Planning your degree: here They find the list of Unisi degrees divided into five subject areas. For each degree students find the programme structure

Students can also browse the USiena course catalogue by the following search criteria: academic year, department, degree, study field (SSN), language of teaching, name of the module. For each module the following information is provided: the name of the Professor, the number of ECTS credits, the semester, a description of the module and the content.

Please note that exchange students are allowed to choose courses from different departments and from different degrees
