The Lotte Scholarship Foundation (Korean) is planning to offer scholarship opportunity to twenty five undergraduate students of Addis Ababa University. The scholarship will be offered to Descendants of Korean War Veterans and we need to select 25 students from all Colleges and Institute except AAiT.

This is therefore to request you announce the offer to all students so that the eligible ones can apply for the scholarship. You can post it to all students or use any other convenient way to reach potential beneficiaries. Students are expected to fulfill the following criteria, present necessary evidences and apply in person at the Undergraduate Programs office, Sidist Kilo, new administration building 2^nd floor before May 11, 2018.

The selection will be conducted based on the following criteria:

• Applicants should
  • Be regular student
  • Present support letter certifying that he/she is descendent of the Korean War Veteran (clearly indication his/her kinship and lineage to the War Veteran specified by name). Certificate can be from Kebele and/or Association of Korean War Veterans
  • Present first semester grade report and second semester registration slip of the current academic year
  • Be non-graduating class
  • Not beneficiary of any other scholarship
• Selection will be conducted based on CGPA, consideration of gender and physical disability
• Scholarship will be given starting coming academic year (i.e. 2018/19).
