New Business School Recruiting Students for International MBA Program
The new Ethio-European International Business School (EEIBS)of the Addis Ababa University today announced the recruitment of students for its first Full-Time International MBA program that is commencing in May 2018.The school which is in the process of developing a portfolio of postgraduate programs is starting with a full-time and a part-time international MBA in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton Business School, England, UK.
The school held several workshops and recruitment events and have already offered places and scholarships to over 40 candidates.
The MBA program has been designed so that full time students are able to complete both University of Wolverhampton courses and AAU MBA over a period of one year by full-time study and students can also study part-time. By the end of the program, students will have enhanced their knowledge and understanding of Business and Management concepts and principles, theoretical frameworks and applied analysis through a range of learning experiences which include live case studies, visiting speakers and blended learning.
Scholarships may also beavailable to students who apply to be considered. Scholarships will be awarded based on the school’s criteria that are based on merit, demonstrated by performance in the entrance examination; past qualifications; awards; work experience and on family’s economic situation. Priority though will be given to paying applicants.
EEIBS looks forward to welcoming young people aspiring to become the managers and leaders of tomorrow, executives, entrepreneurs and managers to the Business School for management and leadership education that is designed to be relevant to Ethiopia, but that has an international perspective.
The successful completion of the MBA will provide a much sought after academic qualification which will enhance career prospects in a number of managerial roles across a wide range of international business sectors.
The Business School has organized FOUR more recruitment events in April as follows. All these events will take place in the Eshetu Chole Hall, Eshetu Chole Building, College of Business and Economics, Addis Ababa University.
- Tuesday 10th April 2018 from 1:00PM to 2:30PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:00PM
- Tuesday 17th April 2018 from6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
- Tuesday 24th April 2018 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
