Teaching Philosophy

I believe in participatory and inspiring approach of teaching with students actively engaging in discussions. Therefore, my teaching philosophy is providing well organized  necessary key points for each topic with sufficient examples, raising questions for discussions, listening to all kinds of reactions/reflections from my students and then summarizing each topics.

I always prepare my course contents in a way students could have a conducive learning environment for that specified course but also to be able to apply acquired knowledge for thier life time to be successful in diverse fields. I provide them all the necessary materials including lecture notes and reading materials and also encourage them to practice independent activities such as review papers. By doing so, I believe they are motivated for further reading and also in applying their knowledge to solve problems in their lives.

For evaluating and grading, I always use continuous assessment in the form of individual and group assignments, term papers, mid-term and final examinations.
