The Department has two computer laboratories, one forundergraduate and another forpostgraduate students and asoil laboratory.
- The postgraduate computer is used to train the following courses (Table 1).

2. The undergraduate computer lab is used inteachingthe following computer-related courses:
- Introduction to ICT
- Fundamentals of GIS
- Fundamentals of Remote Sensing
- Applied GIS
3. The soil laboratory is used in offering soil and land resource courses. The soil lab has modern laboratory instruments,namely;
- atomic absorption spectrophotometer,
- digital nitrogen analysis,
- spectrophotometer and
- flame photometer and others which are used insoil testing.
