Academic Staff Bio.

Currently the School of Social Work has 14 core academic staff with the rank of assistant professorship and one associate professor. Most of them have more than 11 years of teaching and research experience in the School and elsewhere. Eleven of the core staff members are with social work and social development terminal degree and other two with PhD in social Work. Another one has a PhD in Special needs, areas where social work profession focuses in its teaching, research and community service and the other one is specialized in Social Anthropology. Apart from the fulltime staff, the school has an extensive experience of mobilizing international social work educators (professors at different universities) over the globe; they collaborate with the principles of international cooperation of social work educators. Collaboration can be sought from global partnerships such as the African Association of Schools of Social Work (AASSW) and International Associations of Schools of Social Work (IASSW)
