Research and Collaboration

In the realm of research, staff members of the College of Social Sciences have been undertaking various basic and applied studies, the results of which have been produced as reports and/or published as conference proceedings, journal articles, books, book chapters, etc. Regarding publication, in 2003, the College launched the Ethiopian Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities aimed at disseminating knowledge within the College and beyond.

As part of the community service and university-industry link, the various units under the College collaborate with various government agencies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Water Resources and Energy, the Ministry of Women, Children and Youth Affairs, the Ethiopian Mapping Agency, and Addis Ababa City Government.
