Graduate Profiles The student who graduates with a major in accounting will be able to: 1.Design and run for all types of organizations systems of modern financial accounting,that begins with systematic analysis and recording of financial events and end with reporting and interpretation of financial reports, by employing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, governmental regulations,and managerial policies.
2.Employ critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills to resolve complex business and accounting issues
3.Use clear and concise communication to convey relevant financial and non-financial information to the target audience so that decision makers can formulate informed decisions and take action
4.Utilize technology (such as computers, accounting software, information system and databases) to facilitate and enhance accounting and financial reporting processes.
5.Identify the appropriate managerial and business issues critical to analyzing accounting data and other information used for identifying and assessing opportunities and risks,developing organizational plans, allocating resources, and accomplishing objectives.
6.Apply relevant accounting principles and standards to specific business activities and workplace situations.
7.Employ national and international and perspectives to analyze accounting and business issues.
8.Identify ethical issues associated with accounting and business situations and apply appropriate principles of ethics and civic responsibility.
9.Use analytical and research tools to monitor evolving accounting standards and practices and to maintain professional skills in a changing business environment
10.Apply the interpersonal and leadership skills expected of today’s accounting professional.
11.Design and run modern cost accounting system that would enable organization determines and controls the costs of goods and services.
12.Analyze and design short-term and long-term investment projects for all types of organizations and prepare different types of budget
13.Actively participate in auditing work, both internal and external, and take part in preparing audit reports.
14.Assess the amount of tax to be paid by the taxpayers and record the tax collection systematically and participate in identification of accounting, auditing, and finance related problems and researching them for pragmatic solutions.
