The University Senate Legislation is currently under revision. A committee to carry out the revision is setup and already started its task. The main reasons that necessitate the revision include:

1)      The need to align the University Legislation with the Higher Education Proclamation of the FDRE and AAU re-establishment/Council of Ministers Regulations;

2)      To make the Legislation inclusive and consistent with the University Business Process Reengineering;

3)      To address internal and external development needs; and

4)      To address the gaps observed in the contents of the existing Legislation and improve its clarity.

As the revision greatly benefits from the comments and suggestions of the University community, this is a call for your participation to forward comments/suggestions that would help improve the University Legislation. Your participation in this regard is most welcome and highly appreciated.
