The department of Geology and Geophysics has seven laboratories with adequate spaces, one thin section preparation room, one hardware and field equipment store room, one chemical store room, one rock and minerals collection room, three photocopy machines, over four 4WD vehicles for field work, one Medium size field bus for field work and one rock crushing and grinding room.
