Office of the VP for Institutional Development and Community Services (VPIDCS)The Office of the Vice President for Institutional Development and Community Services will play a pivotal role for the overall institutional development of the University in terms of administering University Buildings, grounds and infrastructure; Community Services; Resource Generation, Mobilization and Management; and Projects and Endowment Funds. It is responsible for the establishment and advancement of university business enterprises, university companies and University Endowment Fund; provision of knowledge based training and consultancy services that generate income for the institute in addition to enhancing university-community partnership; organizing and coordinating outreach programs that would be delivered for the community freely; and for the development and expansion of university buildings, grounds and infrastructure. To carry out these huge responsibilities, the office will be organized with three directorates and one Office. These are: Director for University Buildings, Grounds and Infrastructure Development; Director for Resource Generation, Mobilization and Management; and Director for Community Services; and Office of Project Initiative and Management. The following Offices will report to the VPIDCS:
The Directorate of Buildings, Grounds and Infrastructure will house three offices, one each for Construction Management Team, Building Maintenance Team, and Housing Administration Team. The Directorate for Community Services and Outreach developments will house two offices, one for Training and Consultancy Services Center, and one for Outreach Programs. The Directorate for Resource Generation, Mobilization and Management will house three offices, one each for University Business Enterprises, Endowment Funds, and Income Generating Services Center. |
