Background and objectivesThe directorate for Resource Mobilization and Generation is a body recommended by BPR on realization that resources are key factors needed to advance and fulfill the university’s mission of teaching-learning, research and community services. A systematic and sustainable works of mobilizing resources from sources within and outside the country and generating income through service and product producing business enterprises and knowledge and profession based university corporate or centers are deemed essential vehicles of meeting the objectives. While income generation is primarily dependent on business, professional corporate and training and consultancy services, resource mobilization is to be done through initiating and /or contacting endowments, gifts, foundations and similar sources of donations. Organization of the DirectorateThe directorate will have four major units engaged in resource generation and mobilization supported by administrative and marketing management service providing staff. Each unit is to be composed of a team consisting of a fulltime manager, assistant/secretary, and three to five representatives of the university enterprises. Each Team will initiate resource generation and mobilization projects on the basis its key strategies after conducting through standard feasibility studies.
