Graduate ProfilesThe graduate who will have successfully completed the BSC degree in Medical Radiological technology is expected to bring the following changes in knowledge, attitude practical skills (KAP). Knowledge -                     Recognize & discuss the modern principles of radiography, imaging, & radiotherapy in the given clinical setting. -                     Teach & guide those working under him/her through his/her superior knowledge -                      Keep pace with new developments -                     Understand the effects of radiation hazards -                     Compare & contrast the various imaging techniques Attitude-                     Should show utmost compassion to patients -                     Should be able to work as a team & create a friendly environment in his department -                     Should be able to work across boundaries to enhance the health service through holistic approach -                     Should promote work discipline & ethics -                     Should promote belongingness to his work environment. -                     Should keep the privacy of patients & their medical records   Skills-                     Must be able to perform routine & special radiographic examinations -                     Must be able to assist in contrast examinations (Barium Studies, HSG and interventional procedures myelography, Bronchography, etc). -                     Must be able to perform IVU(IVP) examination -                     Must be able to perform cross sectional imaging (C.T., MRI). -                     Must be able to perform preliminary emergency U/S -                     Must be able to interpret certain preliminary routine radiographic images -                     Make evaluative judgments on the technical out comes of imaging procedures and report the findings accordingly on diagnostic imaging -                     Must be able to conduct Q/A programme for equipment under him/her. -                     Must show leadership & managerial skills to run his/her department efficiently as well as effectively utilizes resources available to him/her. -                     Must take part in research & project developments  |
