Photocopying services are part of the auxiliary services that are provided in the libraries as a means of managing resources and as a source of income. The importance of photocopying in libraries has become obvious in the areas of inter-library lending and distant consultation of books, journals and other rare or fragile library materials which could easily be damaged during transportation or through direct consultation over time. In addition, the libraries find photocopying useful both for the preservation of library materials and replacement of mutilated pages or actual reproduction of fragile materials.
