Entry requirement is a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent academic qualification.

In the decision-making process for selection the following aspects are to be taken into account:

  • a professional degree in veterinary medicine or related field (e.g. animal production, wildlife, fisheries, etc.) obtained from a national or international state-run or state-approved university;

  • a proven aptitude, either through work experience or acquired otherwise, for this profession;

  • at least two years of work experience, acquired on a full-time or regular basis, which should subsist until the time of applying for a university place and should be in line with the objectives of this degree course. Preferably, the work experience will have been acquired in the eastern African region;

  • brief explanation of why the prospective student is applying for the MTADM Master Course in form of a statement of motivation.
