Conference Accommodation Services

Dear Conference Participants,

As you very well know, the first International Educational Conference the College of Education has organized will take place from May 13^th to 15^th 2009 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The conference events shall began on 11^th May 2009, Monday morning with visits. On Tuesday, May 12^th, 2009, there will be more visits to local schools and historical sites of Ethiopia to be followed with a brief workshop with graduate students and staff of the College of Education. The actual conference kicks off formally on Wednesday morning, May 13^th 2009 and shall continue up to the early afternoon of May 15^th 2009, Friday.

We will shortly post on our website and email through your address both the general conference schedule and visit schedule for clear references.

The College of Education, Addis Ababa university, is pleased to let you know that it will provide full accommodation services (beds, meals, transportations, etc) for the conference days(May 12^th, only Tuesday night, May 13^th,Wednesday the whole day, May 14^th,Thursday, the whole day, and May 15^th , Friday the whole day excluding night beds to stay) for the international conference participants and local conference participants as well. It was announced in the college's website that International participants would cover their own full accommodation costs during the conference. Now, the college is so pleased to at least cover accommodations for the above stated days and times.

As the conference events began on Monday, May 11^th 2009 morning, we wish to notify participants (both local and International) to make their own personal arrangements in advance for all kinds of accommodation costs (including booking hotels, ect.) fro May 11^th 2009, Monday, for May 12^th 2009,Tuesday, and for May 15^th, 2009, Friday evening and afterwards if any. The conference events on May 11^th and 12^th 2009 may not be compulsory for all participants. They are sessions where only interested and those who can afford for their own accommodations may attend.

Please note that right after the formal closing of the conference on early Friday afternoon, on the same day evening, the Conference Organizing Committee has organized for you all a colorful cultural evening (including traditional Ethiopian music show and food). The cultural show will take place at a cozy place some miles away from the conference site purely for creating festivity moods.
