Registration and Accomodation

To register for the Conference, you must complete and send the Registration Form through the Email addresses indicated on the General Information page of the website. The Conference Organizing Committee will confirm the receipt of the registration in writing.

Registration fee

The registration fee for international participants is 200 US Dollars per person for registration and participation. The registration fee includes expenses for attendance to the Conference, a copy of the proceedings, reception programme/dinner on a selected day/, lunch and coffee during the three Conference days. The registration fee for accompanying persons is 100 US dollars. Participation in the social programme of the conference will incur additional expense. That is; to participate in a guided city tour of Addis Ababa on 11 May 2009 you need to pay 25 US dollars and/or to visit local schools on 12 May 2009 also 25 US dollars per person. All the conference fees will be collected on arrival at the conference. Cancellation must be made in writing to the Conference Organizing Committee up to March 31st.
Hotel accommodation and individual expenses outside the Conference including Post Conference tours are to be covered by individual participants or paper presenters.

Accommodation

For reservation in a hotel please refer to the part under Description of the hotels below to select your preferences. Participants can book their hotels by communicating with the hotels directly on their own or can make contacts with conference organizing committee (organizingcommittee@edu.aau.edu.et or mekasha_kassaye@yahoo.com) if need be. The bills of hotels booked by the Conference Organizing Committee will be settled later by the participant themselves after getting the services. To book a hotel through the Conference Organizing Committee, you will need to complete the registration form before 2nd March 2009. After 2nd March 2009, the Conference Organizing Committee may not be able to guarantee you accommodation in hotels.
