Opportunities for International Visitors
The Organizing Committee hopes that international visitors will see this conference not only as an opportunity to build relationships with educational researchers in Ethiopia, but also to see something of the rich cultural life, scenic beauty and historic heritage of Ethiopia.
To this end we shall be offering:
(i) On Monday 11th May: a guided city tour of Addis Ababa: IES Museum & IER In Addis Ababa University, National Museum (Amist Kilo).
(ii) Tuesday 12th May: a visit to selected local schools & Kotobe Teachers' Training College, one of the oldest Training College in the country in the morning. In the afternoon, postgraduate workshop in the afternoon (a kind of cultural exchange/talk about with international people) ending with a reception and opportunity to meet staff of the College of Education.
(iii) Post conference tours of 3 to 7 days visiting some of great historic sites of Ethiopia or into the Rift Valley to meet the distinctive peoples of the Southern Nations. Arrangements for these tours can be made through one of the following agencies:
