The Academy of Ethiopian Languages and Cultures (AELC) is located at Addis Ababa University, main campus (Sidest Kilo). If one gets into the University through the main gate, he/she will find the building of the academy near the Organization for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa (OSSREA) building, just behind the building of College of Social Sciences.
