Echinococcosis / hydatidosis in ruminant hosts and Dogs: Epidemiology, Histopathology and Public health importance in three selected zones of central Oromia and had come into existence since 2009 G.C. The research consists of the following components:
- Epidemiological survey on ruminant hydatidosis
- Public health significance of the hydatidosis
- Histopathological pictures of the host response (ruminants and Dogs) and structural features of the hydatid cysts
- Echinococcosis in dogs: prevalence, burden, Histopathology and immunological study (cellular)
