Research Interests |
Gemechu’s research takes interest in the Oromo traditional cultural institutions: Jaarsummaa, Gumaa, Ateetee, the Rule of Lallabataa/ the proclamation rule give right to citizenship; the Oromo calendar, conflitology, Ethiopian diverse ethnic cultural groups values, their world views, the unity of man, society and nature or all in one; a natural and human cultural laws in general and traditional knowledge of the Arsi Oromo in particular. |
