College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture Library was established in 1976 under the name of the Animal Assistants Training Institute Library is one of the branches of Addis Ababa University Library System (AAUL). It is located at the Bishoftu Campus of CVMA and supports the teaching-learning and research needs of the College by providing up-to-date and relevant information resources. The Postgraduate and undergraduate library situated at 792.79 m² and 406.2 m² respectively.

Library and information services play a significant role in the teaching, learning, and research activities of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture. The Library primarily holds library materials on Veterinary Medicine and other related disciplines. The collections are organized to provide services and resources for all the CVMA and AAU communities. The library primarily supports its parent organization, a student-centered and research-based higher education institution through the provision of library and information services.

To promote and provide maximum support for teaching, learning, and research activities through rendering users-oriented library and information services as well as acquiring relevant information resources to the society.
