The Research Commons provides space and services for graduate students and faculty at all stages of the research process.
Addis Ababa University Library Research Commons is established to meet new ways of doing research as the digital age, data, and interdisciplinary research is becoming important. The Research Common provides a collaborative environment in which students and faculty can come together to share and discuss research, as well as get support for all steps of the research process: searching, writing, and publishing.
It is a place for research space, presentation opportunities, consulting, and workshops. The library believes that the Research Commons will go far in furthering our mission to enrich the quality of research life at AAU and advance intellectual discovery by connecting people with knowledge.
What you will find in the Research Commons?
Three conference rooms accommodating more than 30 persons
Three seminar rooms accommodating more than 10 persons
The rooms have free laptops, Wireless internet connection/cable connection, and LCD
