AAU discusses with Université of Côte ďAZUR on Multilateral Partnerships

Addis Ababa University (AAU) Office of the Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer held a discussion with Université of Côte ďAZUR, France, to execute multilateral partnerships ahead, on the 12th of Oct. 2021.

The discussion focused on cooperation on research, students’ and professors’ mobility, study grant for master’s of natural and computational sciences as well as Paleo-environmental archeology, and PhD study grant for performing and visual arts.

Mitike Molla (PhD), Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer of AAU, held the discussion with delegation led by Professor Sylvain ANTONIOTTI, Vice President for Research at Université of Côte ďAZUR.

The main objective that Prof. ANTONIOTTI visited Dr. Mitike’s Office was to discuss how to execute multilateral partnerships with different Colleges and Research Institutes of Addis Ababa University.

Established in 1965, Université Côte d’Azur is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Nice, Provence-Alpes-Cote d Azur, now with enrolment capacity of 25,000-29,999 students in an academic year.

In January 2016, Université Côte d’Azur won a prestigious “IDEX” award from the French government for its UCAJEDI project, placing it among the top 10 world-class, comprehensive universities in France.

Université Côte d’Azur is a recently created cluster of higher education establishments on the French Riviera that brings together the major players in higher education and research in the region.

Université Côte d’Azur aims to develop a new, 21st-century model for French universities, based on new interactions between disciplines, a new form of coordination between research, teaching, and innovation, and strong partnerships with the private sector and local authorities.”
