The Ministry of education of FDRE(MOE), in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, Arizona State University (ASU), and Shayashone (SYS), recently initiated a five-year e-learning project titled “Strengthening Higher Education System through Utilization of Digital Technology (e-SHE)”.

As you know, we have started providing master class training for 13 cycles since November 2022. The main focus of the training is to

• equip instructors to facilitate online course delivery
• familiarize with online course design principles and techniques
• provide knowledge that allows instructors to integrate their pedagogical and technological knowledge in the online course design
• develop skills to create online course with open edX Learning Management System

The 14^th master class training will start in April, 2024. Therefore, we are inviting you to use this opportunity and join the 14^th cycle Master class training by registering online through the link mentioned below. The training will be online and delivered in three weeks by Arizona State University. Acceptance notification and the training date will be announced through your e-mail from Arizon State University and training Facilitator.

Female trainees and those who have special performance in the training will be recruited for further training to be a certified as online trainer for our University as well as other universities in the Addis Ababa University cluster.

• Recommendation letter from your department that confirms you are an active academic staff member of the department
• Completion of HDP (Graduate Certificate in Teaching)
• Online registration at https://esheregistration.ethernet.edu.et/
• Drop out applicants are considered only if there is space available
• Deadline: as quickly as possible after receiving the invitation e-mail
