University of Mwene-Ditu of DRC, AAU Sign MOU

Addis Ababa University and University of Mwene-Ditu of DRC signed today a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in Sustainable Human Capacity Building in agronomic, environmental, educational, public health, political and computer sciences spheres and management of natural resources.

AAU President Dr. Samuel Kifle on the occasion said the leadership of AAU is committed to the realization of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two parties.

“My firm belief is that at the end of the project AAU and University of Mwene-Ditu would be in a better position than we are today”, Dr Samuel said.

Professor Tshibangu, from the University of Mwene-Ditu, for his part said, “It is my firm belief that The African Union stands by our university and supports the work we are doing now and will continue to contribute to our work in the future.”

Addis Ababa University President, Dr. Samuel Kifle, and Mwen-Ditu University Special Delegate, Professor Tshibangu, signed the memorandum of understanding at a ceremony in AAU’s Ras Mekonnen Hall.
