The Center for Human Rights (CHR) of Addis Ababa University (AAU) was founded in 2008 and is currently organized under the College of Law and Governance Studies. CHR generally seeks to advance human rights, rule of law, and democratic governance in Ethiopia through high-end research, teaching, and community services. As part of its objectives of providing quality academic, research, and community services, CHR, in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), is implementing a three-year project to support its teaching, research, and community services. For the implementation of this Project and its three components [Multidisciplinary Human Rights Teaching and Training; Research, Policy and Practice Collaboration and Diffusion; Community Based Human Rights Promotion and Protection]; the Center would like to hire motivated, competent, and high-caliber professionals. The Project implementation covers the Center as well as 5 sub-project areas in Addis Ababa, Adama, Hawassa, Ambo, and Debre Birhan.
