Addis Ababa University is ranked 13 among Best Global Universities in Africa. According to U.S. News and WORLD REPORT EDUCATION, the evaluation is made based on institutional research performance and ratings by members of the academic community around the world and in the region. In a statement, THE FIFTH ANNUAL U.S. News revealed that the Best Global Universities rankings focus specifically on schools’ academic research and reputation overall.
