Professor Tassew Weldehanna, President of Addis Ababa University, reached sponsorship letters to young scholars who have been awarded scholarship to study in Chinese universities today, 02 Oct 2020.

Six young candidates, one male among them, currently working in Addis Ababa University, have granted the scholarship to study graduate programs in China. They are intended to study Project Management, Nuclear Medicine, Custom Designing, Veterinary Medicine, and Management.

Prof Tassew stated during the handover that his management is striving to equip AAU with endowed young researchers considering gender balance. The University has only two female among hundreds of professors currently working through, added the President.

“You have to work hard and serve as a bridge between your University, your country and Asia as well as other continents in your consideration,” Professor Tassew Weldehanna advised the candidates.
